Holy crap!!!!!!!   :o  :o  :o  :o

Anyone else have experience with this shirt??  I want to order it immediately.  I'm really interested in knowing if it cuts off circulation or anything, hehe.  If it doesn't, wow.   That's a tremendous temp solution.

edit: he looks fantastic in that T-Shirt!

You mesure around the nipple, and then you mesure on the "flat" part of your chest.

You then take the average.

Could you wear that after surgery?
My PS told me that they dont have compression vests, and they only have bandages.
Also, how long does that vest last? can it be washed?
And, how do you measure your chest size, over the nipple? or under the moobs?
Ok, enough questions for now

If your PS doesn't provide you with a comp. vest, order one of the actual vests from underworks.com (do not use the 997 for post-op compression - it's way too hard to put on and doesn't provide the proper compression for post-op recovery).  I used mine for about a month prior to surgery, and I never washed it (I should have - it started to stink).  I'm not sure how you go about washing one of those and I didn't want it to shrink.

The 990 looks like it would be ok for post-op use: http://www.underworks.com/990.html  You may want to order 1 size larger than you think you wear, and buy some thick, soft foam pads to put underneath the vest to provide better all-around compression.  If you look at the first 4 photos in my post-op pics you can see what I'm talking about (my PS provided my vest and foam padding).  I believe he also put some kind of gelly (like vaseline, but I'm not sure) on the padding so it didn't aggravate my skin.

Btw, thanks for the comments about my pics.  I'm really glad you guys were able to get some good reference from them.  God I need to lose this gut.

I've made so many posts praising the 997 that I'll just sum it up here: buy one!  It is the next best thing to surgery, hands down.  It takes a few days to get used to, but it feels so nice to walk around in a Tshirt with a straight back (no more slouching!) without having your boobs sticking out.

I ended up wearing my vest for a good 4 weeks after surgery.  I had to wash it at least once a week, not because it was smelling bad but because it started to make my back break out.

I was told I could wash the vest with my "colors."  Cold water wash, and regular dry.  It hasn't shrunk.

I was referring to my compression shirt.  I only wore a compression vest for 6 days after surgery, then off it went.
