After Surgery

Summer is coming and I will hopefully have my surgery done before summer is in its full swing and I was wondering how long after surgery can I go swimming at the beach and in a pool? How long does it take for the scars to be faded to the point where they are hard to notice (not completely gone) just not easy to see from a distance?

swimming should be within a few weeks but check with your doctor.

However, sunscreen is a must.  scar tissue turns a different color when exposed to sun until it "cures" for lack of a better word

3 weeks minimal for swimming since its that for weight training.. um sun tan lotion if your darker complexion (im brown) im jus gonna go in the sun as scars dont really show on me  anyway
