With the exception of Pearson street, which I have never heard of (in T.O.), those locations are all about 1/2 hour from JCF's office....  Which one is closest? Dunno... sorry.  :P  My guess is that they are all about the same distance. Give or take a few miles...
Why do you ask dude?  ???

If you are coming from Greyhound Bus, I would advice to take the last stop of the bus which is Bay & Dandas. From there (1 min walk) you can take subway at Dandas station($2.75/ride) to Dr. Fielding office to Jane St. And Dr. Fielding is just accross the street.

If you check the expedia or other website, you will get some good deals in Downtown Toronto Hotels. And that way you can enjoy the toronto downtown as well in after hours.

I worked in Toronto Downtown. So let me know if you need any help.
Surgery done on Sept 6th, 2006 with Dr. Fielding - Toronto. Not 100% cured but will get there for sure !!!

Revision done on December 7th, 2007. Let's hope for best !!!

If you are not staying in Toronto and going to Dr. JCF straight from Greyhound bus stop here's the route:

From Greyhound Main Downtown Bus Stop which is 610 Bay Street, go south (50 steps) to Dundas St.

On Dundas - Go Left (East side) to Young St. which is 1 block.

On Young & Dundas (Eaton Center) take steps down for subway station. Steps are on NorthWest corner of Yonge & Dundas. (ask anyone).

Take Northbound train going towards Finch subway.

After Dundad, 3rd stop is Bloor Station. Get off at Bloor station.

To thing easy, MAKE SURE TO SIT in 1st CAR in the train going towards Bloor. So When you get down to Bloor, just in front of your door, you will see stairs going down (you will see lots of people going down to catch another train). This is next to Book Store or Convenient store.

Once you get down, take a train going towards KIPLING SUBWAY. Please ask someone before you get on to this train else you will be lost.

Once you are in KIPLING BOUND train, you will get off at Jane Street. I think it is 8-10 station. You can find the chart on doors ofd the train. Also attendent announce the name as station come.

On Jane street, you got off the train and come to street level. When you get out of the station, go to your left side (South Side). That's Jane and Bloor Intersection.  It's again barely 50 steps.

On the intersection, on your opposite side of the street, you will see the medical building. That's Dr. Fielding's building.

Total time from Greyhound is about 30-40 mintues.

You can download the TTC route at TTC.CA website.

And if you still find yourself unsecure, let me know. I will some to greyhound bus stop to guide you to train. I work 10 minutes from Greyhound. Let me know when you are coming?

Hope this will help.

bossman....

I was hoping that your consult day was on one of my off days from work (I work shifts). I could have met you at Term 3 at Pearson and taken you down to JCF's office. However, I am working the night shift on the 18th of September.  :-/

bossman:

I am going for surgery on 6th Sept. and will be back on work on same Monday 18th Sept.

I am not able to drive you to Dr. Fielding's office but what I can do is, meet you at Greyhound Main bus stop in downtown and walk you to the subway. That way you won't get lost. Let me know if you want to do that way.

I think you have to be at Greyhound Toronto Downtown terminal by 3.30pm. I had the same time appointment and I left my office arround 4.30 and reached Dr's office at 5.20pm. But as you are new keep your self a extra time.

I have also posted the direction earlier which is easy to follow and you won't be lost. But again if you are not comfortable, let me (John - bambu also will help you) know.
