hey all,
this is my first post and i tell you, its a brilliant form and so much information..
I am quiet big so i couldn't say for fact if i have gyno or its just fat.. either way it doesn't really matter which i have cos i hate it anyway.. I started working out since the start of the year but had a couple of set backs with enjuries and travelling with work, etc..
I am posting some of my progress pics here and will be posting some more in a couple of month or so.. I am quiet strong minded and don't care what others think.. so i do take off my shirt when i go to the beach anyway.. but to be honest its always on my mind >:(
if you could please look at my pix and tell me if i can get rid of them the hard way coz i  want to wait a bit before i go under the knife ???
thanks in advance guys, and peace..
my 'after' pics were taking last july .. need to get my laptop sorted and will be posting more soon

Yeah I can see some progress everywhere including your chest.

It is hard to tell if you will get rid of them because it depends on many variables some you cannot control. It depends on the amount of fat and glandular tissue in your chest that has caused the enlargement. Gland can only be cut out or in a minority of cases medicated ie tamoxifen but as I understand it if the gland has been there a long time tamoxifen will not do much.

It depends on your diet (how clean you eat) and exercise regime and how commited you are and how much time you hav e. I think some exercise routines are more conducive to getting the fat off difficult areas like ones chest.

It also depends on what your expectations are. Some people would be happy with an improvement others would be concerned with even a minor case. I am also of the opinion that genetics plays a part. How easily do you store fat on your chest?ie when you put on weight does it go to the chest first or to other places?

As I said earlier no one can say for certain but I can see an improvement already so you never know. I myself did it 'the hard way' but mine was fat only, caused by medication so I think coming off the med may have played a part.Although I still had to lose it like everyone else. It was also extremely difficult to do. And I had to spend hours in the gym and on the road running. Luckily I like this kind of thing ;D.

But I would say good luck and give it some more time  before going under the knife.

thanks guys..
worrior, I try to keep a clean diet as much as i can.. but i seem to have the odd indian take-away once a week.. rest of the week i have a pretty clean diet.. i try to eat 5 small meals a day.. i switched my workouts from a 4 day split to a 3 day full body workout.. as i've noticed that it has a much better results when it comes to zapping fat..
I know that fat around your chest is pretty much the last to leave your body.. i will be giving myself till the end of this year and if i haven't achieved the results i am hoping for i will just go for the surgery.. I am just a lil worried about going through it and stuff..
wish me luck  :-/

  • Wilma, grab the lotion, we're going to the beach!
The fact that you're improving physically has to be motivation to keep going.

You've still got a blower on you but it's looking better.

Good for you, going to the beach and not letting it bother you.

You're a big guy, others probably don't pick on you.

cheerz jc71 for your comment..
I will give it my best shot before i look at other options.. well, having breasts doesn't give anyone the right to pick on me regardless of being big or not.. i am sure if you dig deeper you'll find lots faults with others, even if its not around thier chest area  ;)
a ocuple of weeks ago was having lunch at work and out of the blue, this guy that i take lunch with for the last 6 years makes a comment about my breasts.. didn't beat him up or anything.. i would've loved to  ;D but i picked on him in a similar matter and it didn;t really help his case that he is missing half a finger..
as I said before.. i really want to get rid of them for me really, more than anything else..
thanks to you all for all your comments and maybe there is a chance that i could get rid of them the hard way
