Hey guys. After a very long time of researching gynecomastia and the surgery, I have finally decided to call Dr. Fielding's office and booked a consultation for February 9th. I felt very anxious about making this call, but i didn't let anxiety get in the way of me getting this problem fixed.
The main problem for me was working at the same time as going to school (im 19 and in university) and paying off my student loan. So it wasn't easy to save up the cash for me. At first i thought this problem would go away by the time i turned 18 or so. But 19 now and no improvement
It was very frustrating for me because i have always been in good shape and worked out and trained everyday, had my body in very good shape, but the oversized nipple/breast area always put me down. Because of this i stopped working out and put on weight...but starting to exercise again now that surgery is a step closer and a step closer to getting rid of this problem. Or at least fixing it significantly. I dont expect perfection, "fix, not a cure" as Bambu says.
I am curious to know what happens at the consultation appointment, for those that have had it with Dr. Fielding. What can i expect from it? What kind of questions should i ask? I am thinking of asking about Fielding's surgery revision policy, incase there is no improvement after the surgery. Any ideas for good questions i can ask?
I am a little worried about the surgery. I have heard a lot of horror stories from ''basic'' surgeries, especially plastic surgeries involving liposuction. Also what about anasthesia? If it is a general anasthesia and i am put to sleep is there anasthesia specialists present during the operation? I think this is very important.
If you guys are curious in seeing one of these ''horror stories'' i have mentioned, here is a link to one of them...its horrible, and its from a simple liposuction. Although i think liposuction involved in gynecomastia surgery isnt as demanding. Here it is
