compression vest Q

i was told by my doc to wear the compr vest for 4 weeks.. most of the ppl recommend 6 weeks? is that 6 weeks fultime or do u remove at night or either day time? can anyone help?

i dont know if i shud stop wearing end of this week.. (4 weeks get over end of this week).. just to play it safe...
