Hi, i'm a newbie poster, but i've been reading this place for a while. Some of the advice here helped me finally get my act together and get my gyno taken care of.

I'm a 21 year old fitness fanatic who was cursed with puffy nipples. they were so damn big that they actually sagged - what made them suck even more was that i did hundreds of push ups daily to try and get rid of them - no dice. i just had a nice chest topped off with bitch breasts.

anyways, I just wanted to say that insurance completley covered my procedure with a local PS - United Healthcare. To be honest, i know almost nothing about how insurance or claims work. I just called my insurer, told them about my problem, and they gave me a few names. I called around and got appointments, and the process went on from there. I was shocked how easy it was. From the time I called my insurer to my surgery date was less than a month - pretty damn fast.

I don't know that every UHC plan would cover this, but i think that a lot depends on how good the "claims specialist" at your local PS is. Mine took some pics of me and asked me if the condition was physically painful (told them yes, of course).

I know that $$$ is a big obstacle for a lot of you, and I thought i was never going to get rid of this curse. But today I'm 2 weeks post op, and looking forward to a shirtless summer.

:D
