I was just wondering how the payment thing worked out for you. I'd assume it's different for every doctor, but I'm curious if you had to pay up front or were  you allowed to make payments? Becuase my dad just came back into my life recently and he said he'd pay for anything medical that I needed, but he's no Donald Trump either. So if I was eligible for the surgery, then I would have a better chance of getting it if I didn't have to pay 5 grand up front >_<.

Thanks in advance.

You have to pay up front to the surgeon, but you can take a loan if you have to. See http://carecredit.com/ for example (that's what they suggested me). I haven't had the surgery yet though.

Holy free money Batman....   Carecredit has 3, 6, 12 and 18 month no interest plans. 24 to 60 month terms you pay 11.9 %....  not bad at all...
