I am an 81 yr. old man just diagnosed with Prostrate Cancer. (T1C - Gleason 6 )- I have had Gynecomastia in my left breast for a few years with some pain and discomfort. I have had Mammograms and Echo, showing a dense mass, but have been told no reason to follow through. I have normal but low testatrone levels.
I have read of  Hormonal Therapy before Radiation (IMRT) for a good result for the Prostate Cancer.
I am concerned that there might be a relationship between the Prostate and  possible Breast Cancer with the Gynecomastia.
I would appreciate it if anyone has heard or read anything about this. Thank you for reply

I cannot be sure what ind of medications you are taking, and that could have a large impact upon your situation.

On the other hand, The medications used to treat Benign Prostate enlargement almost all list Breast tenderness and Gynecomastia as possible side effects.
