How does scar tissue feel?

One side is still a tad puffy post op, wondering if its scar tissue or some left over gland. It isnt really hard to the touch when i massage unless Im flexing which kind of bunches it up and makes it dense. It definitly does feel hard in the center when I squeeze parts of it. Anybody have experience that might be helpful here?

Assuming excision was done, I would lean toward scar tissue.  It's a guess at best, though.  Maybe you should contact the PS and ask that question because he knows exactly how much gland was removed and could give you a more informed answer.

Are you on painkillers?
Did your PS ask you to massage?

More than likely scar tissue since you are barely post op. Scar tissue can start off hard and eventually softens or disappears. I am 7 months post op and still have some on my left side that is very squishy (kinda like when you push on chewed on bubble gum).

yeah thats kind of how mine feels. Im actually about 9 or 10 months post op. my ps was a little vague but he did tell me to massage
