i have a cough and cold with a minor soar throat which developed today
my op is in 2 days
im worried they wont put me under general anaesthetic and my op will have to be cancelled
ive been waiting so long
and its booked exactly a month before my holiday to florida

Safety of the patient for elective surgery should come first.  Hiding such issues from your doctor can be very dangerous.  Although my male chest contouring patients are almost under local with heavy sedation, there is no good reason to go ahead with such surgery.  The risks are just too high for infection or airway obstruction from already inflamed passages.
