I've just had surgery for gyn (lipo and excision) but my doc says i dont need a compression vest?? Why is this? come to think about it why Are they used in the first place?

I stayed in hospital on the night of surgery and had drains in for about a day could this be why?

Would appriciate your thoughts!

Guys, get a compression vest.  You need to let your skin reattach.  Sounds gross but its true.  I had very minor (compared to most on here) gyn and day by day I noticed that my skin was getting tighter due to the comp vest.  For extra insurance, I would deffinately spend an extra 60 or 70 bucks for two cheap ones.
