I've been looking at the pictures on this site, and some of the post-op pics don't look too good. I'm not usre I'm ready to take the plunge. I just wanted to know if there is anything I could do besides surgery, home remedies? I'm had gyne for 4 years and i'm 15 years old.

At your age, it could go either way. You may be physically mature enough that your full growth has been achieved and there is little chance of self resolution. Conversely, if you have not yet achieved full growth, you may still have resolution without treatment.

This is a very touchy issue and you may get lots of argument both ways.

I have read posts by some young men claiming to have had good luck with one form or another of self treatment.  These stories are purely anecdotal and do not have the support of statistical evidence. Which means that I would not give them much credibility.

The safer and more sure thing is to start with a visit to your Doctor.  Self medication can sometimes make the problem worse.

You're still pretty young.  You might want to chill for  a few years before you make any decisions about surgery.

I figured that is the kind of response I would get, but thanks. I just wish there was an alternative to the surgery. "Just wait a few more years" is what I've been hearing for about 2 years. I think my gyne is pretty extreme compared to the pictures on this site.

If it is extreme, as you say, and you just are not exaggerating, then i would be doubtful that it would resolve on its own. you might post some self-pics and see what some others have to say.

in my opinion the best pictures are the ones that are done by the pros.

however some of the pictures of the other surgeons work looks pretty good too.

but for some reason the pictures of patients that were done by ____bermant and jacobs seem to be of A+ quality.

and if your going to get this done, you might as well get it done by someone who is one of the best.......

just my opinion

How it worked for me:

1. Had gyne was very sad   :'(
2. Found this website, got sadder knowing surgery was only option.   :'(
3. Finally told my parents about my gyne.  :-/
4. Went to family doctor, he reccomends surgeon but says they probably won't do anything at your age (15).  :-[
5. Went to surgeon. He left it up to me.  :)
6. In exactly one week I will no longer have puffy nips.  ;D
7. Only time will tell...  ???

So I guess I'm saying, in these easy steps you can get rid of your gyne.
