Yes, Lipo and Excision. I paid my PS $1200 for the Lipo, the rest was paid by OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance)

What problems are you having posting your pics?

Well iv never posted pics before anywhere so having a little problem my little brother is coming over and will help me post ASAP.  Ur looking good so far  way to go no to much bruising either.  Well im all most tempted to do to canada and have fielding do it but will cost a butt load i live in va..  Well will have my pics up some thanks for keeping us all posted every day on ur recovery and happy healing :)

Good luck posting your pics... It's very easy to do actually. Upload from your computer to a storage host, then post the link here. That's it, that's all. ;)

It looks worse that it actually is. No pain just a bit of discomfort/ache at times.

Yes, I highly recommend JCF. Even if you have to travel a bit such as yourself living in Va.

Yeah, with all my 'Before' and 'After' pics, hopefully they will help others decide weather surgery is 'right' for them. All I can say (IMO), is that if Gyne causes you any grief/emotional pain and want them gone.... Go for it! You will not regret it. ;)

Bambu.  First let me say thank you for sharing your 2 day post-op pics with us, it's not that often we see pics so soon. You look like you have a ton of swelling to me, maybe i'm wrong.  All normal for 2 days. Don't know what to say, just keep updating your pics so these guys can give you advice on how you're coming along.  :)

Bambu, looking good. You can see improvement each day. I see a big improvement from Feb 18 to the Feb 20 pics. Can you imagine the improvement you'll see in a few weeks?

Keep updating pics. I think you're doing a lot of good helping others to see how the change occurs after the chest begins to repair itself.  :)

Happpy healing..
:)

Feeling good actually! There never was any pain really. Just a bit of discomfort at times. Took a few T3's  ;). Looks worse than it is.

If your Gyne bothers you, go for the Op Dude. Wish I could have done it years ago.

Sorry to hear about the ladies Guy. Yeah, it can be tough at times huh?

Also just a note shouldnt u be wearing a compression vest for the 1st few weeks?  Or not

I asked Dr. Fielding about that during my consultation and he said it wasn't necessary to wear a compression vest. I trust his judgement.  ;)

Hey...no probs Guy. Just trying to get the 'visual' documentation as complete as possible. The bandage was making me very itchy anyways. So I took it off on day 2. Good time to take some pics. Will update pics every day for a few weeks and then maybe once a week after that.

Yeah, you can notice the swelling starting to go down between the 18th and 20th. Yes, in a few weeks it will look much better for sure. Patients is the key though.

For sure! That's what this Site is all about. Helping others to cope with Gynecomastia or make an educated decision on weather surgery is right for them. With my pics starting at Day2, those considering surgery, will know exactly what to expect.
 ;)

Well bambu i finally posted my pics :'(..  hope u doin well and healin great good luck my man..

Yeah, I just saw your pics. Thanks for sharing. Yep, I'd say you're a candidate for surgery guy. Yup, it sux having moobs. On the brighter side though, it's nothing that a good PS can't fix ;). Have you decided on a surgeon?

Yes, I'm doing well thanks for asking :). Had my follow-up exam with the Doc today and he says that I'm doing good. He wasn't happy that I took the tensor wrap off. He had a student nurse put another on and told me to wear it for another two weeks. Still no mention of a compression vest.

regards,

John.

Okay.... Got pi$$ed off with the tensor that the hospital gave me. First of all, it's a PITA to put on by yourself. Second, it's leaving uneven lumps on my chest as I have it somewhat tight. Went out today and bought a better tensor wrap. Much easier to apply and also compresses evenly ;). ( Pic on the Pics Page )

bambu, are you happy with your results?  It's still only a week and a half, but what do you think?  I ask because back on day 1 or 2 you were talking about a possible 2nd surgery.

jc71....

I was worried that the Doc hadn't gotten all the fatty tissue during Lipo. JCF assured me that it's just swelling that I was looking at. The swelling has gone down considerably since my '2nd surgery' post. It's easy to get the 'What if he didn't get it all' thoughts into your head :-[.

Yes, I am extremely satisfied with the results so far. Check out Feb 18 pics to Feb 28 pics :D. Still much healing (inside) yet though... ;)

Howdy Bambu - I just had a look at your pics, looking good my friend!

I hope you don't mind me asking quite a silly sounding question.

I had surgery yesterday afternoon and am already having the thoughts you describe in your last post on this thread. My gyne looked fairly similar to yours, and was wondering how long did it take for your swelling to go down and when did you start to feel happy with your new look?

Congrats once again on the successful surgery.

serg....

It took about 10 days for the swelling to go down. You can see on my pics Page that the pics of Feb 26th, the swelling is almost gone. Just a little bruising remains.

I was happy with the results right from the time that I took off the tensor wrap and foam pads :D. I just got a tad worried about the swelling. The Doc reassured me that the swelling would go away, and it did.

Congrats to you on having the Op!  ;)  I hope you get the results that you are looking for....  :)

Who is your Surgeon?

Do you have any pics posted?

Bambu - I gotta tell you.  When I get on this site, I look forward to your updated pics.  Phenomenal results in such a short time.

You look like you're healing very quickly.  Are you eating any special diet, getting x-tra sleep, eating more or doing any form of exercise. How are you healing so quickly? Maybe it's all those Heinekens.

You've got a big rib cage.

My surgery was done Mr Jan Stanek in London. As far as I can tell I think I'm the first person on these boards to have used him.

I know it sounds stupid, but I was a bit too embarresed to take before pics just before the op. I'll try and dig out some older pics of me on the beach or something - but those will invariably show me with hunched shoulders.

I'll take some post pics once this compression bandage comes off.
