Holy crap, 18 days left till my op with Dr.Fielding. I met a new girl, not the meet Joe Black girl, but a little cute one from Chile. Havin fun with her but, I keep avoiding the beach (It rains alot here thank god). I told everyone I'm going to Toronto to check out the scene, most people just accept that, although they are a bit confused as to why I would go there on Vacation and not somewhere tropical (Next year maybe). I got some part time work that I can take with me on the road,
everything looks good to go. I can't wait! ;D

6 more days. I wish I didn't have to go throught this. Hiding it from my friends is really difficult. Most would understand, but some would make jokes or tell others about it. Nobody wants to be known as the guy that had cosmetic surgery. It won't matter when I'm chillin on the beaches of Thailand though will it?

Do not tell a soul you're having surgery if you strongly feel that way.  I haven't told a soul either and I plan to lie my ass off to hide it.  My excuse is going to be I was weight lifting at the gym and there was an accident when I was bench pressing.  Some blood settled in the chest cavity and they had to drain it.  My friends have not seen me with my shirt off for the longest time so they won't know anything happened once it heals.  My girlfriend might have questions and I'll just tell her the doctor had to make some cuts to drain it.  Plus, when we have sex, I can do her doggie style for a while so she'll have no idea what's going on.  I know my situation and I can set it up where she doesn't find out. No one needs to know.

You're right, people may joke about it and we all know that when we get angry, anything can be said.  I don't want this coming back to haunt me (it's haunted me for so long) if I'm having an argument with someone and I especially don't want my surgery to be a topic of conversation with anyone I know.  Keep it to yourself and have your wits about you.

Yeah..that's good advice, but If any of my close friends ask me about it, I will tell them the truth. Except for a few of my friends that I could not trust. I'll just tell them that I used to be miserable, and now I'm not, they should accept that. If anybody in the future ever asked me why I got the op, I'll say because I had a deformed chest and I hated myself.

Ahhh...life is good. 4 more days.

Some of the guys at work say I had a sex change. :P :P :P  They're just giving me the 'biz' though. Doesn't bother me at all. Actually, I laugh when they say that. ;)

Lookin forward to seein Toronto. Two weeks post op I'm off to the Okanagan valley, and that is beach country. I'm not supposed to get tanned with the scars n all, but I think they'll be fine. I just hope the bruising is gone and the stitches dissapated by then so I can at least go to the beach. My friends n family might think it weird if I didn't go. I've never let a little Gyne get in the way of a good time, and I don't want to waste another summer ever again.

Did you tell them?

About my surgery? Yeah, that's why they joke about me getting a sex change. They say that I went from a woman ( cuz I had boobs ) to a man.  :P

Post as soon as you can my gyne brother (or soon to be ex-gyne brother).  Good luck with your surgery.  Give me a lot of details as my surgery will be in a few weeks.

My flight to T.O was uneventful, the return was another matter altogether, scary as shit! We got to 14,000 feet and then hung out in a cloud for like 15 minutes while I watched the wing flaps jam in and out of their positions. The captain came on the loud speaker and informed us that “there’s a slight malfunction with one of the wings flaps, it isn’t a safety issue” or some crazy shit. It wasn’t the flaps, but I was scared shitless….not a safety issue!? darn you! I imagined an announcer from one of those made for t.v. movies where they’re like "12:15 pm, pilot reports engine trouble, 12:42 pm, lost contact with flight 249". It wasn’t the flaps, but I was scared shitless. We didn’t divert to Winnipeg but flew straight on to Vancouver.

First of all, the plane was delayed because of LIGHTNING, then we almost crash into another 737 at 20,000 feet! I saw the damn thing come straight at us from a 90 degree angle; I watched it from 5 kilometers away tearing at 350 mph straight at us and then fly directly our jet with maybe 500 feet separating….crazy. I tapped into the jets wine supply like a hippy at a Greek wedding.

I used to be in the Royal Candian Air Cadets; I have actually piloted several planes, gliders and ultra lights, but man, I can't handle the two engine, medium size jets, I need to be in control. I love the stewardesses though, they're so reassuring, and they feed you, just like an air-mum. I quit the cadets when I discovered rock n roll.

The 727 was a charter from a Kelowna company called "leaving on a jet plane". Their name was written on the tail in big black, freaky looking bubble letters. I remember I noticed it at Vancouver international and thought to myself, “thank god I'm not flying on that fucking plane”....What are the odds I’d be on it on the way back.

I'm working on getting my new pics up, and working on the story of the surgery.

Looking good.  My surgery is next Wednesday with Fielding and just looking at your pics makes me wish I was having surgery today.  You must be one happy son of a gun?

Did you take a lot of tylonel 3's? How was the surgery process?  We're you nervous?  Did Fielding and his staff put you at ease?  How long did you stay in the hospital after the surgery was over?

That looks awesome Zardos!  I am leaning more and more towards Fielding and I haven't had any consultations yet, PS's seem to be pretty booked.  Anyways I'm from Ottawa so the travelling wouldn't be too bad (either drive with someone, train or fly there and back) and if his student fee is still at 1070total, or a bit more that's even better!
