Just had my Surgery

I had my surgery on 2/5 and I just returned to work today. I've got a few questions I hope some of you can answer.

1) How tight is the compresstion vest supposed to be?
2) I've had tremendous itching not just under my garment but all over my body. This normal?
3) I have had some tingleing sensations on my incision sites (nipples and under my armpits). Is this normal?
4) I feel like I have a bit of fluid on my right side behind my nipple.
5) My chest is still very sore. How long should this last?
6) How long does is take for stitches to dissolve?

Did you speak with your doctor at all before the procedure??  Most all of these are normal signs of healing.  If your body is itching all over, I would look into a possible allergy or reaction to something new since the operation.

Wonder if Tylenol w/codene can cause itching

it could be the fabric of your vest for all I know.  Or perhaps you just have dry skin.  Did you take any anyi nausea medicine?

On the day of my surgery I did. I think it just may be a combo of the dry skin/discomfort of the vest. That's the least of my concerns right now though. I'm really worried about the formation of what I'm hoping is scar tissue and not more gland.
