I had my first surgery 4 months ago, and finally my doc accepted he didnt remove enough gland and is going to perform revision. How many of you got the results you wanted with revision? If the doctor didnt do the surgery correct the first time around (lack of experience in that particular surgery, etc, etc) how probable is it that he will perform it right the second time?

Try using the search bar feature in top right corner of the window.
Or you can just go to http://www.gynecomastia.org/smf/index.php?board=16.0 which is all about revision surgeries!

  • You t*t, what's he gonna do nibble your bum?
I don't know who could really answer that question.

Two things I would do if I were in your shoes.

One, ask your doctor a lot of questions about his experience with the very revision you are doing.  How many has he done? Photos? Does he have references from those patients?

Two, get a second and third opinion.  Try to find a surgeon who specializes in Gynecomastia.  Depending on where you live there are some who post here and others I am sure.

The latter of these two is where I personally would focus. From what I understand revision is difficult and tricky, and each subsequent revision gets even more so.

I would find an expert.  Where do you live?
