no drains ever in. I had lipo only though no incision

lol not u brah, I mean OP. he had drains and in his last pics he has them out. i was wonder what his final CC was

how did you get your pecs so big? just woundering for my own workout routine

As RyanMace said; working out  ;)

I smell sarcasm here :D anyways... ;)

I just perform 3 exercises, 3 sets each (7-9 reps) for chest once every week.
Bench Press (135 to 160 lbs)
Inclined Dumbbell Press (45 to 55 lbs each dumbbell)
Dumbbell Flys (35 to 40 lbs each dumbbell)

I generally step-up and step-down my weights (from the ranges above) and cycle them every 2 months or so.

As one would notice i don't/can't go too heavy! My take is, if u can lift your body weight then u are good to go!

... and yeah 3 sets of warm-up excercise (mainly push-ups).

What is the deal with the drains do you have to have that in 24/7 ??! Is there a needle in your chest or something. That doesnt look fun!

Couldn't agree more ... but only for the first two days (when you are expected to get totally laid back).
I'll have to say that removal of those drains was the most painful experience. Surprisingly short thought (2 minutes each side).
After that 6 weeks with the vest on, and it should do wonders. Take my word, I haven't come across anyone in this Forum
that has had both (Drains for 3-7 days and vest for atleast 4-6 weeks) and had any major complication. Its gross, but boy it works! ;)

so r your drains out? how many CC did u have your last day?

Yeah my drains were out on day 6 after the Operation (same day when i started this thread).
I stopped draining after day 4, but my Doc was in Novato for the remaining two days
... so i waited for him to get to his San Francisco office for 2 more days. Was well worth the trouble,
as i was completely sure that i drained 90-95% by then.

coolness. thanks for chart. im so scared to get them out now. since u said it hurt like hell. how did u feel when they were out? was it a HUGE difference confort wise?

damn u got drains too! ive had it for over a week! i get them off tommorw!

IMHO they are the best form of Gynecomastia recovery. However some folks think otherwise.

i have drains too! what do u mean they are the best form of recovery? mine look like yours. my gf  said i look like i stole something and stuck it under my shirt! lol



I mean they really help to speed up recovery (by preventing fluid build-up) during the first few days after surgey.
When serum/blood accumulation at the surgical area is at its peak.

I have to confess, i did take a couple of peeks at my chest during the first 6 days (the nurse said it was ok to do so).
I could feel something long and hard by the incision area (remember i had excision only). At first i thought
it was scar tissue (but scar tissues don't from this early). To my horror, they were the ends of the drains.
The ends are a white elongated rubber with perforations in them (for fluid suction). Most of the soreness
you feel right now is because of them (unless u have done lipo as well).

Once the Doc removed them i was totally relieved. The pain while drain removal was excruciating. However, there
are many members on this Forum who just felt a pinch thats all - nothing to worry about. The satisfaction u get once
they are out is far greater than the pain u will feel (if any). So Chilax dude, you will do good ;)

Once they are out, then more than half your trouble is out the window. You will be more mobile now, and will hardly
feel any soreness with the vest on.

Just pop a couple of Pain Killers before your appointment tomorrow and you wont feel much - my 2 cents!

I heard you should never over-train because its slows/stops muscle build, but is once a week really enough?
I'm planning every other day. What do you say?

I have trained my whole life. I have trained muscle groups once per week as well as twice per week with rest between. Both ways worked fine for me. Try both and see what works best for you.

I do full body (back-chest-arms-shoulder-belly) now every second day. Each muscle group is 1 or 2 exercises max. so I only train for an hour. One day weights training and one day rest(thats when I do cardio for 20-30 mins, usually jumpropes).

What do you say? Is it too much?

Thats the exact routine I did when I first started lifthing yeeeears ago. I did full body workout 3 times per week. Resting a day in between each. Good luck!!

After that you should consider mix-n-match (like chest-triceps one day, back-biceps next day, legs-shoulders the day later).
You can add rest days in the middle and do cardio as well. Training each body part once a week should do. Do not overtrain!
Also, try finishing your weight workouts within 45-50 mins.

...and what about legs? Legs are the most important or all the workouts dude. It boosts your natural growth hormones.

I've been working out for only a couple of months after a long break so I'm a beginner.
I think I'll stick to my current plan for the next few months and then do the way you suggested. I'm assuming mix-n-match includes 2-3 exercises/muscle correct? Unlike the full body where I do only 1-2/muscle.
I do legs as well. For calves I do jumproping and for thighs the lunge with dumbbells.
