I bought a generic Under Armour shirt undersized to substitute for my vest on occasions. Its seems like it is offering enough pressure. What is everyone's thoughts?

anyone?

Well personally I have been healing and seeing improvement wearing the under armour shirt.
Seems to be giving me nice support and pressure.

Ya I wear it during the day and sometimes at night. Wear the vest when hitting the weights though. Hope all is good with you GP!

I bet they are cheaper than some weird surgical device. 8)

How much did you pay?

last one  (nike) was £25 8)

$50 (CND/USD)  That's about the same as compression vests that are sold in N.A.

I'm looking at getting a couple of these for after I stop wearing the vest from the docs.
Not sure about sizing though.  What size are you normally for shirts and what did you go for with these?

I'm usually a Large, sometimes XL when it comes to shirts for going out in, and Large for normal t-shirts

I got generic under armour at Walmart. I am usually a XXL. I tried on an XL and it was way to lose for compression. I ended up going with a Medium. It is tight but not uncomfortable at all. I wear this instead of the vest.

Brilliant, thanks for the reply.

My plan is to wear the vest I've been given until they tell me its ok to take it off.
Then wear some underarmour for a couple of weeks.  I'm guessing I'll just have to buy & try a medium and a large and see what works best.

I tried my compression vest on the other day... oh my days!  Im hoping it fits better after surgery  :P
