Thanks for that last posting Jason, but at 38D/DD  I always get properly fitted for an under-wired bra and even then it is obvious under an oversized a T-shirt. A sports bra does work but is uncomfortable to wear all day.I cannot have an operation because I have a blood clotting problem.

Jason, I like the Just My Size also, but I wear the Style: 23538  (store #  1259).

Del, with the large breast like the DD's as we have it doesn't matter if you have a bra on or not, they're going to stick out. I have been told they show less even in a good support bra because they are not "flopping" all around, and hanging lose swaying back and forth.

I looked at Linda The Bra Lady's web site yesterday and put in my measurements and her calculator,  it said I needed a 46 "H". WOW! I am fine with the DD cups with the bra's I have. I have an 8" difference between the rib measurement and the fullest part of the bust. Given the "teardrop" shape the smaller cup works better.

I also like the Magic Bra! They don't offer a lot of support, but they hold them close and tight. They are very light and not very detectable if you want to be discrete.

Thanks Hammer for your comments. I also have an 8 inch difference which is why I get properly fitted. I use a bra during the day because we DD's  need the support or get a sore back.

That is why I FINALLY broke my male pride and started wearing the bra after all the years of neck, shoulder and back pain!

2009 I went through over 9 hours of back surgery so I don't want to go through that again! I will do what ever it takes now to ease the pains! Except go through unnecessary surgeries that insurance will not pay for, and add anymore unnecessary health risks to myself. With the diabetes, surgery is only done if really needed.

I have made several other post but the just my size 1256 has no lace and give you plenty of support.  A guys bra????  Just trying to inject some humor.

I made a suggestion to JMS to check out gynecomastia and to make some more bras that would have less lace to be for us!

Just picked up a Nike Pro Victory (Combat) Compression sports bra from Marshalls.  $15 (list is $30 and is common internet price).

At first glance I was dubious it would be worth much in support, but after wearing it for the last couple hours, it is by far the best sports bra I have picked up yet.  Most either are lame for support, not tight enough (and non adjustable), or wear out fast or just wrong size.

No binding, no pinching, straps aren't too long like most, it is snug, but not in all the wrong places, it doesn't mash you completely, but it does firm up the chest very well.  Not the easiest to get on/off, but it is brand new too.

Wide band underneath is very welcome.  And good price.  It is the "dri-fit" material so I hope that means it won't be too hot in the summer.

Probably only objection is the reflective Nike logo on front, but it is reversible and the other side doesn't have it.

Read the reviews, most people really like it.  So far, I wouldn't hesitate to run in it at all.

Oh, watch for them, they have sizes like S, M, L, XL, and in the print on it will say something like A, B, C cups or D and larger or D and DD, etc.  Most of the time when you find a XL the manf's expect you to be a DD.  Which I am not, more like a B or depending on the size/manf, a C, but an XL (my size) and D-DD cup size, even for a compression bra, is very unsupportive.

Howdy Men.  Posted a few weeks ago about finally wearing a bra and how the 46D Just My Size #1256 was the deal for me.  Took away the neck, shoulder and back pain, and had no frills.  I put the bra on, put on my usual work type shirt and went about my business.  Didn't think much about getting undressed for my evening shower.  Took my shirt off and turned to my wife and heard a Oh My God!  I believe I replied something brilliant like What, What, What?  When I got the profile shot of me in a bra I realized I need to pay attention.  Is there a bra out there that will hold me in but not crush my chest?  The binding is just as bothersome as the neck, shoulder and back pain.  Any help would be appreciated.  Y'all have a goodun!

Are you saying the band size was to tight, or the cup size was to small?

I always buy a band size 3 to 5 sizes larger then my measurement so it doesn't feel to tight or leave marks. Example, my measurements call for a 46H size bra, however, I wear a 52DD in a front closer and a 50DD in a back closer. I have found that front closer's run small and are also minimize so that makes them a little tighter so I go bigger on them.

I have wondered if I could have my wife alter a bra to make it fit better.  Get the right cup size around, but make it not project as much and make the cup depth smaller.

Like for me I am just shy of a C cup, but I need more of a D width, but more like a B projection if that makes any sense.  Then it would fit perfect.

I think that is the idea of minimizers, but they don't make them in b-cups at all.  Never tried a C cup and see if it fits.  Maybe have to.

Hey Hammer and Bman.  Thanks for responding to my post.  I have tried to think how to explain my problem with the bra.  I guess I could say if I were female and wanted to show off, I would be very pleased with the result of the bra.  Not certain what I expected.  I thought I could find a bra that did not project without binding.  You know as men, we have it made when we want to buy underwear. Boxers or swingeasys.  Long sleeve or short sleeve tees.  There are way too many bras out there and I know about as much about them as I do flying the space shuttle. And although Sharon is cool with this deal, not certain if I'm ready to have her purchase a bra for me.  Again, any suggestions would be appreciated.  Y'all take care.

My wife offered to buy for me, but not sure I am ready to explain to her what I need.  And she doesn't like me looking at pictures to know what I might need.  :) It is not an easy task for sure.

I have looked at patterns on line to see about having my wife make one for me and mod it to fit me better.

Hey guys, if the wife is already cool with the bra include her in with picking out a bra! Debbie has helped from the beginning and it has saved a lot of trips to return the ones that didn't work.

You could also go for a professional fitting. I didn't need to as I read up on how to fit one properly, and went from there with my wife helping. You will be please with the difference once you have one that you can wear from sun up to bed time.

I once posted that we had a good laugh one night getting ready for bed, as we both were removing the bras at the same time, and did find humor in that. If you get to the point that it is laughable, I think you both got the stigma beat, and can handle it from then on.

I haven't had my wife see me in a bra only yet, but in a bra tank I sleep in every night, I am just more comfortable with that than a t-shirt or a compression top, it just isn't enough and they slide down (I sleep on my side) and I tend to get my arm going to sleep at night, but if they are in a bra or bra top, I don't have the problem.

Oddly, my wife is much larger than I am (42DD to 44D I would guess) but she never sleeps in a bra.  I guess to a point being larger might be better?  I don't know.
