Write it down and take it in with you...... it is the only way.

Apart from anything else, you are wasting the doctors time if you keep going in and then making up some fake illness to avoid the real issue.

Take a few minutes to write down very briefly what you want to say to the Dr.

Then, if you get tongue tied at the last minute, simply hand the note to the Dr.

I have a number of medical problems and I find that the notes are helpful in case I forget something at the last minute that I wanted to ask.

The key here is to be brief and make sure the note is legible. If it is too long or difficult to read it has no value.

In my case I start with a list of the medications and dosages that I'm taking. Be sure to include Herbals and even vitamins etc. Don't make the Dr. Guess.

Sorry I havent had time to jump on my computer, but I am back!

No I did not bottle it again, but I didnt see the GP...

He had to go to a 'hospital emergency', so I was told.

The receptionist re-booked it for tuesday 29th however I am going to keep on trying for cancellation.

I had the note and did not wear 2 vests under my t-shirt and jacket and when I was told the appointment was cancelled I was dissapointed. But oh well...
