  • Getting in shape, then surgery.
Alright, I've been losing weight and now I can see about 3-5 veins on each chest. What do surgeons do with the vein. My guess would be:

First step finding out if the vein supplies muscle or just surrounding fat or tissue.

Then if the vein is supplying fat that is getting removed do they just remove the vein too or do they leave it there for decorational purposes.

Thanks any info would be appreciated

I dont think any surgeon would cut any vein, veins run very deep through all of your skin for meters at a time. What they will do is push it out of the way/move it to operate and then leave it there. I really wouldent of thought a surgeon would take out a vein.... thats just IMO im not a doctor though.
