questions about scars?

When do Scars usually develop? I am 4 weeks post op and so far so good . No hypertrophic scars. one reason I am asking this is because after i Use silicon sheet i feel so irritation and some swelling occurs (maybe for swelling or i am imagining) . I dont know , I am not too comfortable with the silicon sheet. I feel that i should let my body heal naturally since i never had a problem with scars anywhere but i guess nipple are different??

have a word with your doc..i'd say use the sheets if you've been advised to..you wouldnt want top stop using them, then have hypertrophic growth occur? so i'd say put up with the short term discomfort for the lonf term gain.
