Another monkey man! :o lol!

Actually I haven't looked at all under the vest yet.  I'll post some pics of my hairy chest again. But to me since I never let anyone see me it does not make a diference.

Today October 3 (6:42am) I feel better; actually slept like a baby until waking up 10 minutes ago. Yesterday night I strolled (very slowly) to the shopping mall (sherway gardens) via the 80 bus near the hotel (on Queensway); then I went to  Sobeys to buy a few healthy goodies to watch the debate and took a taxi back to the hotel. Note that there is a phone at the exist of the Sobeys direct line to get taxi (before calling, I stood for 10 minutes outside without luck)...

I've been taking 1 pain killer every 4 hours approx. Right now I am laying on my back and don't feel any pain at all.

Thanks; the surgeon also cut through the areola. I believe it was 700cc total. I'll post pics when I take this thing (compression vest) off in one week.

Hi I posted a pic with the compression vest on just to start. I noticed that I still have a long way to go with the abs and love handles...well at least it is much better than 6 months ago when I weighed 55 additional pounds pounds.

I'll post next week,

Pretty serious I think -- I would give you an 8.

Good luck!  My surgery is scheduled for Oct 21 -- pretty excited.

Thanks for rating. I think its above average as well..+ my Dr. told me it was pretty severe but not extreme either. I guess your rating is fair.

October 21, will come by quickly. For me the last week was long...I wanted to be at the op table already. But now that it's done I'm still amazed that I actually did it... Well remember to post pics before the surgery so that we could see before and after...

hey arpa1, i'm curious... how long did you have to stay in toronto before Dr. Fielding let you go home back to montreal? Are you going to have a follow-up appointment with him? i'm from montreal and i will have surgery with him too. Also did he give you a compression vest? Leslie wrote a note for me to be 2 weeks off from work... but it's on a medication prescription paper, anyone know if that's valid?

any additional tips from a montrealer would be appreciated :)

hey arpa1, i'm curious... how long did you have to stay in toronto before Dr. Fielding let you go home back to montreal?

-----Hi. I stayed over night at the hospital (required because I was alone) so I left at approx 11:00am on Thursday, the day after the op. Originally I was supposed to meet fielding on Friday but he and his resident Doctors saw me Thursday Morning and assessed that I was doing very well so they let me go without the need to see me again on Friday. But they asked when I was leaving to Mt, I said on Friday as planned and they very happy to hear that.------

Are you going to have a follow-up appointment with him?

-------I believe not; he did not schedule any appointment after the surgery. He did give me a detailled list of things to do and told me to call him if I have any concerns, pain or feel anything unusual. I will call him again anyways.------

i'm from montreal and i will have surgery with him too. Also did he give you a compression vest?

-------Yes I woke up with a compression vest-----------------

Leslie wrote a note for me to be 2 weeks off from work... but it's on a medication prescription paper, anyone know if that's valid?

---------- If it is signed by Dr. Fielding I guess it's valid.----------------

any additional tips from a montrealer would be appreciated.

----- the day of the surgery bring your cell, some music, and if you have one a mini dvd player so that you can watch movies in the room.....----

Well today I finally got to see my chest for the first time in my life  ;D; I think that in a couple of months (healing process and some steady weight loss) it will look great. I removed the sticky foams  :o (hurts like HELL specially with long chest hairs). I did do it slowly because I was scared to open any wound.

So far; I think that Dr. Fielding's work is aligned for some great results; let me know what you think. I am currently in the process of losing weight; so far I lost 56 lbs and have 44lbs to go to reach my target.

Your results look great!

REALLY.

Take pics without flash though if you are going to do it in front of the mirror.

REALLY LOOKS LIKE A HUGE SUCCESS THOUGH!!

Congrats!

Thanks to Dr. Fielding.  FYI I could actually wear T-shirts and don't feel embarassed anymore.

I'll post each week new pics to see progress.

Note that Dr. F says that the final results will be apparent from 3 to 12 months depending on many factors...in addition I have about 45 additional pounds to lose; which should take about 7 more months at a steady pace of 7 pounds a month.

Thanks for the encouragement guys!
