Hi guys,

I am scheduled for surgery in 4 weeks and I need some help breaking the lack of exercise and overeating cycle I am in right now.  I am a relatively thin guy who just needs to burn about 15 lbs fat and gain about 10-15 in muscle. 

Is there anyone also prepping for surgery that wants to chat in detail regularly about diet and exercise?  Exchange photos, etc...

How much time can you commit to exercise?

The big three are it.

Diet
Lifting
Cardio

My suggestion would be to make moderate changes to all three and then here is the key. Be very loyal to your program.  Consistency is the key.

I lost 50 and added good muscle in the months before my surgery.


Diet....Abs Diet, bought the book and followed it exactly, no deviations, actually enjoy the diet.
Weight.....5 days week, one hour/day
Cardio.....6 days week, 30-90 min.

The abs book has exercise plans too, maybe all you need.
