Scarguard?

Has anyone used Scarguard MD? Do you think it helped? http://www.scarguard.com/

I haven't seen anyone mention this product. I felt a little bad spending $70 on it but it was recommended.
I just really don't want a noticeable scar on my nipple. The only bad thing so far is that it smells horrible. It's like nail polish but stronger.

Scarguard is a good product.  It contains silicone (as does Mederma scar gel), but it also contains hydrocortisone and Vitamin E.  Each of these 3 ingredients works to minimize scarring.

I prefer the less expensive Cocoa Butter with my patients' massaging and After Surgery Compression Garments.  I have never found any reliable study that shows that one After Surgery Scar Care gel or cream is better than any other.  Check out that link to go to the manufacturers' site to read about their various claims.

Thanks but I know whats in it and all that and I have been using it. I'm just wondering if other patients after surgery have used it and their experience. It's not a huge deal, I'm just curious.
