What to do?
hey everyone
I'm 18 years old, in pretty good shape; never been overweight and right now am on the skinny side at 5'8" 130 lbs. I first got gynecomastia when I was about 12, in the form of what appeared to mostly be fat deposits in my chest area. I noticed the lumps of breast tissue when I was 15; the doctor told me this was normal. Now, since then my gyno has subsided, but I still have a pointy chest with a bunch of fat on top of the lumps on either side. It's not terribly visible when I'm wearing a shirt, but when I take my shirt off it's pretty obvious. I hit puberty really late--my voice changed when I was 15, and I still look pretty young--which has my wondering whether I should try and wait it out. I know most cases of gyno subside within 2-3 years, but after 6 years without this thing going away, I'm really thinking about surgery. Obviously I would prefer hormones or pills, but there doesn't seem to be a consensus on whether these work. Is there any chance of its going away on its own?

here's some pictures

Re: What to do?
there is a consensus. it won't go away on its own, and they don't work. you definitely have pointies, and if you can't live with them, start talking to a ps.

* a man is more than a body will ever tell
* if it screws up your life the same, is there really any such thing as "mild" gyne?
