Like so many of you I've had the surgery and one side I'm quite happy with and the other side has so much scar tissue built up that the nipple is still puffing out. I'd like some feedback on ways to treat this? I used to go to physio when too much scar tissue built up on my elbow joints and they would break it down through ultrasound. shouldn't the same technique work for the chest area? any feedback would be helpful

it really is hard to say - is it scar tissue or residual glandular tissue? I have no experience with ultrasound in this scenario, but one option to consider is an injection with a steroid (usually kenalog). This may soften and help break up the scar tissue. It this doesn't help, consider a revision under local anesthesia whereby more gland is removed. Either way, this sounds like it can be improved in a fairly straight forward fashion. good luck.
