Thanks to the useful info & feedback I've already read on these boards, I'm considering investing in some form of compression garment, for daily use, as I lose weight prior to potential G. surgery (probably about 12-18 months away minimum).  My only efforts so far have been the occasional use of a t shirts several sizes too small - doesn't really work as they stretch immediately.

These specialist garments sound interesting.  I was wondering, is there anyone here who works in a smart office environment (suit and tie) who wears a garment under a formal shirt?  I am a pretty big generally and with rather large 'assets', so would appreciate feedback from those in a similar situation who use a garment day in, day out, in an office environment?

Particularly, I've found when wearing t shirts underneath shirts, that in fact the two garments 'stick' together/the outer garment 'rides up' on the inner shirt (not sure if it's static or otherwise, but perhaps others can imagine what I mean by this).  This seems even more unsightly than boobs in the first place - are there any garment brands/clothing materials which others have found particularly bad for this?

Thanks in advance.

Male undergarments, both tee shirts and boxer shorts can be found in a smooth nylon tricot knit. Worn over a compression garment (or even an athletic bra is some cases) they offer concealment and do not bind or bunch up under a white dress shirt.

TRY  http://underworks.com/

The 997 is a double layer of spandex, I see they now have one with three layers.
Took the plunge and had consultation with Dr. Karidis 7th January 2009.
Surgery 26th February 2009.
Just wish I'd been able to do this years ago.

Cheers guys, that's very reassuring.  Form this thread and what I've read elsewhere, it seems Underworks is a good place to start.  I'll look at the UK boards to see how's best to source it over here.  I'll post back to let others know how I get on

Underworks may be based in Florida, but they are cheaper and the quality is good and not that much extra for postage from US (make sure you select the 'signed for option')

My first post was similar - 2 years ago  :(

My patients use these Body Shaping Compression Garments and they tell me they look good under a shirt and tie.  However, under fine almost transparent dress shirts, these garments do show through.  Not all garments contour to the chest well.  Each company's fit is different.

Hope this helps,

The only fucking problem I have with my vests is like....if you're abit out of shape, and you pull the vest all the way down, it will end up rolling back up, so you have no choice but to make sure it rests under your stomach fat kind of, and this will show under a shirt..not only that but you can also see a outline so it looks like a tanktop...the guys that are posing on 'underworks' obviously have their garmets stretched down all the way, but as soon as they bend over or something, it will start rolling up, trust me its happens to me all the time and now i have to wear my vest in a certain way that it really outlines me stomach, and if you're fat, it will make your ass look bigger due to the fact its putting so much pressure on your back.

I'm only speaking from what I have to go through daily. ;P.

The First Stage After Gynecomastia Surgery Vests I prefer, tend to be longer than other brands and ride up less.  Here is the link to the Second Stage Gynecomastia Garment. However, the human body does come in such a variety of sizes that for some, a custom garment is a better choice.  Click on the link on either page for International Orders and ask in the email about a custom sized garment.

Hope this helps,
