whats the diference between breast tissue and gland?

Breast tissue consists of gland, fat, connective tissues, and skin.  Breast gland is a component of the breast.  Check out the Anatomy of Gynecomastia to see these various components.

thx doctor.
but could you answer me my 2 questions at my last post in my thread.would be awesome

http://www.gynecomastia.org/smf/index.php?topic=16665.0

There are limitations on what realistic surgery has to offer.

Residual tissues are usually a combination of gland and scar.

Evaluating tiny non-standard pictures can very difficult at best.  I prefer Standard Pictures to Evaluate After Gynecomastia Surgery that tend to demonstrate subtle issues.

Some doctors leave gland behind to minimize crater deformity.  I prefer my Dynamic Technique for Gynecomastia Surgery where I target gland first and then use nearby tissues to fill in.  All men have some breast tissue.  However, I have seen many men unhappy with residual tissue left by other surgeons.  Here is one example of Residual tissues left behind by liposuction only gynecomastia surgery that I revised.  There are many other examples on my website.

Such issues are best explored with your own doctor or someone you see for a second opinion.

Hope this helps,

i think it is scar tissue that is there and will heal in some time. but i think "normal" people do have some tissue on there chest. everyone does. thats why he left it so you chest could look like a "normal" chest. someone who might have no tissue would be someone that is suffering anorexia. you dont want you chest to look all sickly and sunkin in like that. do you??

All normal males have at least some breast tissue, as do all mammals.

Removal of all glandular tissue leaves an unnatural sunken or cratered deformity.

When the gland is small enough, the nipple is flat.  As the gland gets bigger, Puffy Nipple Gynecomastia becomes more of an issue.

Any recommendation should require more details about the original problem, what was done, and other factors.  Residual gland alone is not enough of a reason for revision surgery.  If there is a deformity that secondary surgery may help, then it may be an option best explored after healing and an adequate evaluation. We help patients explore such issues during a consultation or a Preliminary Remote Discussion.  The images you posted are definitely not sufficient to demonstrate if there even is a significant residual deformity.

als you can see,my left breast is a little bit "crashed" and the right one is still puffy?

my surgeon said,he left some breast tissue. but i dont feel that confident with it because the right breast is still big as you can see in the last pic.

there you can see the cratered left side.
the problem is,there is enough gland, but the nipple is about 0,5 centimetres right from the gland :(

there is not much gland at the left"sunken" nipple. but why is the whole chest sunken and not just only the nipple?
is agressive liposuction a reason?

how could i fix it?

Amazing results. Just wondering where was your excision done? Was it along the bottom of the areolar?

Well honestly im not too sure about the cratering. When you say under the areolar do you mean along the lower part of it. Or do you mean 2 inches or whatever below the entire areolar because i see no scarring.
