I'm curious how many of you guys had follow-up consultations with your PS after surgery?

Not me. I haven't been in contact with my surgeon since my op in any way shape or form.  :o

I had a follow up the next morning with Bermant. I was supposed to fly home that afternoon. We looked at the results and I had a small hemotoma on one side (excessive blood buildup). He had to put in a drain, so I had to stick around the area for the weekend.

Monday rolled around and the drain came out, but I had to see him again two days later for dressing removal.

Long story short...I stayed in the area for a week and had 3 follow ups. Everything worked out just fine, just had a small hitch in the road. If I would'nt have seen him the next day after my op, I'm not sure what damage the hemotoma would've done, but I don't think it would have been pretty.

I had a follow up 5days afterwards. My chest looked great, but now it seems "puffy" I hope it's okay  and my skin just needs to tighten up

Had one follow-up at 6 days. That's it that's all.

I am 14 weeks PO now and was supposed to have another follow-up at 12 weeks. However, I'm feeling great and there's no problems, so I'm think'n that the one follow-up is all that is necessary.

  • Breasts belong on women!
Had a follow-up the next morning, and scheduled one for a week later.  Had to reschedule that second one to post-op day #15 for convenience reasons.
