puffy after post-op

On friday I had some breast tissue removed under both of my nipples. I have suffered from puffy nipples since about 14. Finally I had tissue removed by a plastic surgeon but they still appear puffy 3 days after. Can this be due to fluid buildup and swelling? I can tell its a different type of puffyness. The incision was done at the upper crest of each areola and it almost looks as though fluid is in fact trapt. I was just wondering if this can actually happen. My doctor said to keep the rap on for 2 days but maybe i should keep it on for longer. let me know thanks.
