i emailed him he said the surgery was 4600 bucks.  darn how much do i really have to pay? he said its not covered. y is feilding some much cheaper the is bs.

Fielding performs the surgery at a public hospital so OHIP (Ontrario's medical system) covers the costs.  You only pay for his services.  Give Fielding a call and see what he quotes you.  Also let him know you're from Vancouver and whether you have to pay Hospital fees since you do not have OHIP.
