Fielding Contact Information

How exactly would I go about contacting Fielding's office to book a consult? I was beating myself up about whether or not I should make the call, then finally just went ahead and did it today using the number I've seen posted here (416 766 8890), only to be told the number can't be completed as dialed. Would calling from BC have anything to do with it? Do I need to put other numbers in front of it because it's a long distance call? I realize this may sound stupid, but I've never made an out of province call before. Also, how does the 2 month (or whatever it is) post-op visit work if you're coming from out of province? Is it optional and only those who think they're having problems need to book it? Thanks in advance.

Your 'follow-up visits' are not mandatory. Since you are in BC, you are definitely not going to fly back to T.O. for a 'check-up'... If you have any problems, I'm sure your GP could intervene...
