I've recently started bodybuilding and was wondering if my gynecomastia will be more noticeable as I progress.  It's looking better as I'm losing weight and gaining muscle, but I worry if my pectoral muscles will push it out there once they're larger and I'm skinnier.  Could someone fill me on what to expect?  My gynecomastia consists of puffy nipples and small glands.  I'll post pictures if it would help.
My story is here.  Photos are coming eventually.

Bodybuilding the natural way -- without drugs -- is terrific for you.

However, if you do have any gyne, particularly puffy nipples, it will not disappear.  In fact, as you lose weight and build muscle, the gyne may appear a bit more prominent.  That is a combination of the muscle pushing it out further and the diminution of the surrounding fat.

Eventually, you may want to consult an experienced gyne surgeon.

Good look with your training!!

Standard Gynecomastia Pictures can help others better understand your concerns.

I work with many Bodybuilders with Gynecomastia. Building muscle is great for shaping the body. The most common complaint is as they build muscles, what sits on top gets pushed further out.  It does not take much Puffy Nipple Distortion to ruin a cut look to a male chest.

Hope this helps,

Before I had my gyno surgery, my muscularity went up and down considerably a few times depending on my consistency with training and nutrition.  I found that my chest looked the best when it was the most muscular, probably because a larger overall shape makes the nipple puff look smaller in comparison.  However, if you go a little overboard in a bulk phase and gain too much fat with the muscle, you'll probably make yourself look worse.

Good luck with your training!  What kind of routine are you in?

Since I'm just beginning, I'm doing standard Stronglifts 5x5.  My diet is mainly beans, nuts, rice, oats, fruits, and veggies.  Taking advantage of the early "build muscle & lose fat" is transforming me quickly (later I know this will cease).

Terrific for me in which ways?  Do you think it will help with the appearance of gyne or no?  I am considering a future op. if I start getting serious.  Could bodybuilding make the surgery easier or less expensive?  Thanks in advance for listening to all my questions.

And no I didn't get gyne from the juice.
