I had the surgery roughly 4 days ago, I've been wearing compression daily and nightly. I like the results, but the right nipple seems to be sort of weird. You cant really see it in the picture, but the bottom ring of the aerola (where the incision was) is swollen where my nipple folds under it. I know its only been a few days though, and my doc has assured me it'll work itself out soon. I'm in no pain whatsoever other than the occasional prickling sensation. Took 1 Tylenol today and thats it. I'm slowly trying to get back to regular movements with my arms and shoulders. I actually biked quite hard today on a stationary bike, which felt great and didn't hurt my chest. Just an update, also wondering what others think of my progress. If you have any questions, go ahead and ask. Thanks!

Looks great dude!  Just relax and let your body heal...no way you can expect perfection right away, it's just not possible.

I would suggest that you don't work out too much for the first while...you just had surgery!  Even though it doesn't hurt, it can cause fluid build up...that's bad...

Take it easy for now.  all the best!

You're on your way to a great result!

You'll see lots of changes in the first 6 weeks. Don't worry about them. It'll work out after a few weeks.

Congrats! But don't push too hard with the exercise. You need to give the tissues a chance to reconnect and regenerate.

hey your results look awesome.  Can I ask how old you are?
My body type is similar to yours and I would just need the gland removed also.  Im 20 and have been dealing with this for 7 years... :-\

Is your doc by any chance in NY and how much did it cost?

@Ganix
Thanks a lot! I'm gonna put up 2 week pictures soon. I'd rather not say my age, sorry, but I'm real close to your age. My doc is not in NY, sorry. For me, actually, it was completely covered by insurance because I went to a general surgeon. I don't recommend doing this, though because its risky. I had very minor surgery so i guess the risk wasn't that big and definitely worth it. Sorry i couldn't help. Good luck!

3 Week Pictures and Update!!
No pain, just some tingling sometimes. Still have numb parts of nipple, with no feeling. Other parts have increased feeling. All part of the healing process i suppose. I started running a few days ago, with a tight wrap and compression shirt and had no problems. This was first cleared by my surgeon of course. Few questions:
1. I only had excision, and have been using mederma on the scars. Should i start massaging
2. As you can  maybe see in the picture of the right nipple, it is healing funny. The bottom half of the aerola is swelled way up, and the actual nipple (nib) is sticking down under the aerola, giving it a sunken or inverted appearance. Is this normal? And will it likely go away?
       Thanks a lot for everything!
