Perhaps, but I doubt guys would be so worried about it if it didn't look distinctly female.

See: stomach, butt, arms, legs, etc. =)

I agree with jsboob, to have the condition they are supposed to look like a female's breasts. Clearly there are a vast range of female breasts and some females have man like breasts ( not sure if that has a name)   but i think we all know what we are talking about. A very fat man will probably have a pair of breasts but mostly  they won't look like a females i'd say. Although overweight when i had surgery I felt i had the condition as I'd suffered from this when I was slim. In all honesty the excess weight I was carrying disguised the condition a bit and I found i'd rather look fat than a slim guy with breasts. Interesting posts though as I'm not sure a lot of guys that post on here with puffy nipples strictly have the condition and a lot simply don't at all. The Drs that post seem to think everyone has but i'd say there is a certain amount of self interest going on there.

I also disagree with the whole "HAS to look like female breasts" definition. Just because the word is derived from "woman's breasts" doesn't mean the medical condition has to be defined the same way. Just look at bodybuilders with gyne... they DEFINITELY do not have 'female-like breasts' but a gyne specialist wouldn't hesitate in diagnosing them.

all humans (in fact all mammals) have breast tissue, male AND female. When a males becomes over developed it is known as gynecomastia.
Obviously this is very subjective but looking at your pictures in my opinion ( which is what you asked for!) you do not have the condition.
Of course its not just a size issue, as one of the docs here posted, its more of a "contour" issue. many females have small breasts but still look feminine!
If you agree you do not have a female looking chest, then what exactly is it you are worried about?
If you want rippling muscles then hit the gym!
personally I think you would be mad to undergo cosmetic surgery on your chest!

Entirely your decision tho. ::)

First, the photos are misleading. You might try Dr. Bermants' site to see what some more standardized photos should look like.

Second, if the breasts are the source of pain or burning you should be talking to a Doctor. If your breasts are being stimulated in this way it may be advisable to have your hormone levels checked.

I have been having gyno since the 4th grade, now I am in the 9th grade. My right side is bigger than my left side.

Rate My Gynecomastia - is a frequent question.

Gynecomastia = female breasts on a male

Rating gynecomastia is like rating female breasts. What are common factors for women with an A cup size breast, D cup size breast, pubescent breast?  They are all breasts. On a male, if it does not let the pectoral muscle shape show through, it just does not say male. This deformity can range from the subtle form (pubescent equivalent) Puffy Nipples in Men to massive breasts with fold and dependent tissue.  What really counts is how much the contour problem bothers the individual.

Unfortunately, it can be difficult to distinguish just what is causing the problem.  Gynecomastia male breasts can be fat, gland, or most commonly a combination of both.  Sometimes skin and sagging tissues can be a factor.  Pseudo Gynecomastia (Pseudogynecomastia) is supposed to be fat only gynecomastia.  The problem with that "classification" is that in almost every case of gynecomastia I have seen there is some component of gland.  This gland can be very small, but it is present almost all the time.  All mammals have gland, that includes both men and woman.  So do you have Pseudo gynecomastia when there is a 1%, 10%, 50%, or 90% deformity from fat?  Reality just does not work that way.

Defining the problem with pictures sometimes can help.  Paa_Paw is right, your images are misleading. Subtle Gynecomastia needs my Standard set of Pictures for Gynecomastia to show such issues.

Asymmetric or Uneven Gynecomastia is quite common.

Hope this helps,
