Will take some updated pics tomorrow and post them up. I am over the moon with the right side of my chest, it's healing nicely not too much swelling and not too much scar tissue, very nicely shaped and the nipples looking good. Having a bit more trouble with the left side of my chest, got a lot of swelling above the nipple (could even be fluid) lots more scar tissue, nipples looking a lot better tho nowhere near as puffy now. Also got a slight crease, indent in my chest above the nipple although  i'm pretty sure this is becasue of the swelling above the nipple because wehn i press it down flat it looks normal. Not worried about anything in the slightest though as my chest still looks a million times better and it's all part of the recovery. We all heal differently, some of us will have nice smooth recoverys where others will get complications so don't get disheartened people :)

Look forward to them, Remember that both sides will not heal the same at the same time you will have to wait till a good 6months + to see what the end results are going to be like.

My LHS AND RHS are completly diffrent this is all due to the scar tissue but once that goes down they should level out equal.

The indent/slight crease is due to the scar tissue i have the same issue this will go when the scar tissue dies down.

Left side of chest, taken today, 18 days post op. I have huge swelling/fluid build up abpve my areola which is forcing my nipple out and down and causing an indent/crease above the swelling:

Front view of my chest, taken today 18 days post op. You can see how the scar tissue/fluid/swelling is making my chest uneven. My right side looks bigger than my left, i have swelling on my left side forcing my nipple out, i now have more scar tissue on the right side but i am more happy with the right side than the left lol:

The swelling/fluid/scar tissue pushing my left nipple out and down, think it may need draining tbh:

So as you can see from the pics my chest is very uneven at the minute, i have huge swelling or fluid build up above my left areola which is pushing my nipple down and out. On my right side i have a lot of scar tissue below the areola and to the side of it and also some behind the nipple. The recovery and healing after surgery can be a right ballache i tell you, it can be tough but patience is the key. Immediately after surgery my chest was flat and even, it was fantastic. Now you can see it's uneven but i'm still at the beginning of recovery and there is a long way to go. Hopefully it will all even itself out in time. Started the massaging today, did about half hour in the shower it wasn't painfull or anything, going to keep that up all week to see if i see an improvement.

Been massaging for about half an hour a day, it's quite boring but I just do it while watching tv. I have a load of scar tissue building up now so I'm hoping the massaging will help with that. Not sure if it's helped at all yet but only time will tell. The swelling on the left side of my chest has gone down a fair bit now so I'm pleased with that, I've been wearing the compression binder from the clinic very tightly and that has helped reduce the swelling. If you do get swelling then compression is the key. I'm 3 weeks post op today and overall I would say I'm very happy with the way I'm healing. Once the rest of the swelling on the left side goes away ill be delighted.

Results look brilliant mate, I think you have got much better results then me already.
The only thing that i dont like about my results atm is the nipples as the LHS looks like its gone in and The RHS looks like it puffy lol.
But im hoping and preying that this is only the scar tissue and once that goes it will be good as gold.

Hope everything going well still.

Hi Jake

My right nipple has gone in also mate it has indented and stuck to the muscle but it's only because I haven't pulled it off like Katarzyna did as it hurt like hell when she did it lol. The puffyness you are getting will be due to scar tissue mate, my puffyness has gone now, wear the compression binder at night mate it helped me a lot.

4 weeks post op today. The swelling on the left side has almost gone completely now, still got scar tissue on both sides of the chest. I haven't been consistant with the massaging, I should have been doing it everyday but I've been missing days here and there but I will keep up with it from now on. I do believe massaging helps, I don't have huge amounts of scar tissue and when I have massaged it does seem to help a lot. Still wearing my compression vest in the day and the one from the clinic at night. I think wearing there's at night has really helped reduce the swelling I had on the left side. I think my underworks vest would be better if it was tighter but it seems to be doing the job, I'm a large and I had a medium, if anybody gets one of these I would reccomend getting one that's 2 sizes smaller than what you normally wear. Really happy with how small my nipples and areolas are now and that they aren't puffy at all. My chest still looks uneven at the moment, not sure what it ever looked like before I had gyne though tbh and when going to the gym I have always been stronger on my right side than my left so could of been uneven before. Immediately after surgery though it was even and the uneveness only came about with swelling and scar tissue so hoping it will even out. If not then hard work in the gym will sort it out.
At work till 10 tonight so will get some pics up late tonight or tomorrow morning.

Tbh i'm delighted with the way i'm healing now, it was a rough few weeks with a lot of swelling on the left side of my chest but that has reduced dramatically as you can see from the pics. Don't get disheartened in your recovery as it will all sort itself out in the end, compression is the key for swelling and massage is the key for scar tissue. If i massage my chest just for a little while the scar tissue does seem to reduce, i haven't been consistant with this though (being lazy like Jake haha). Will take some more pics tomorrow night.
