Karidis has literally changed my life, the guy is a legend I know I have a long way to go but how he has transformed how I feel. I don't have to keep looking down to see if my nipples are visible.

Thanks for the support guys :)

Doesn't really feel tender mate, just these scar tissue lumps are a bit sore and when I raise my arks it makes things come inwards but it's getting better as each day passes.

This is awesome, I feel the same about levick and my surgery. Can't wait to hit the gym again, knowing that my hard work in the gym will actually provide me with results that can be seen. no more hiding under layers. no more worrying people at work have noticed my gyne !!

enjoy bro.

Afternoon guys,

Day 16 today and Ive got the vest off only using it at night now. Just thought i would give a little insight into me being back at the gym, i feel 99.9% now and i know there is still alot of healing to be done so intend to take it easy and not do anything that is going to mess me up.

Gym session-

chest press barbell- 60kg 5 sets of 10
incline barbell- 60kg 5 sets of 10
(decided not to do decline as its where the healing is going on, or not to do flys as it might pull the chest a bit too much)

T-bar rows- 30kg 3 sets of 10
Straight arm pulldowns
(I did 2 sets of lat pulldowns but this was making my chest tight so i stopped although there was no pain)
I wouldn't recommend wide grip pullups either as this will cause the chest to be fully stretched with arms above the head and it could become quite painfull.

I also did a gym session yesterday but this was just arms, to see how it went, biceps curls, hammer curls and cross body curls all felt fine with heavy weight, tricep movement has improved since day 11 and i could do all pushdowns, kickbacks and skull crushers with no pain to my chest. I haven't bothered mentioning the legs as i have been able to train my legs since day 9 post op. The only thing i haven't done yet is shoulders as i think shoulder press with dumbells could make my chest feel pretty tight as its above my head.

This isn't my full workout I'm just trying to see what my body is capable of without doing any damage or causing pain to myself and hopefully benefit other people reading this.

Overall the swelling hasn't changed on my chest maybe just around the nipples its causing them to have tiny crease where the incision was but this isn't noticeable, and when i raise my arms up u can see the scar tissue in the right light where its just lumpy but doesn't really cause any discomfort.

Any questions please ask :)

Great stuff mate, sounds like you are making a good start in the gym already.
You started massage yet or waiting till 3 weeks post op ?

I'm gonna wait until the 3 week mark until the massage. Chest should be ready for it then I could probably do it now but I don't wanna damage myself. Do you have to do small circular motions and how much pressure do you have to put on the chest? Do you have to go over the nipples aswell?

Yeah same mate. Yeah circular motions i believe, and firm pressure but it shouldn't hurt. I would say going over nips is fine but maybe go lighter there ?? anyone else got any tips for us noobs ?

i did what you two are talking about doing. waited until the 3 week mark then just went softly and have built it up over the first week. i've noticed some of my swelling is going down...not sure if that is the massage or just naturally, or maybe both?

Hi Guys,

Ive noticed my swelling and scar tissue hasnt got any worse now for a week and it seems to be subsiding a little. I have noticed that the swelling has caused a bit of a dent under my nipples but this isnt really noticable and its only because of the swelling and scar tissue i think, is this normal?

The best thing ive noticed is i cant stop looking down at my chest when in the shower and in the mirror, its so strange putting on a tshirt and pulling the shoulders back to show the pecs rather than 2 puffy nipples.

My nipples seem to both react to cold aswell going hard which is a good sign i guess?

Fantastic mate, must be a great feeling not worrying about what your wearing and just feeling free. Just be patient regarding you chest, lt it heal and follow the steps, your results will get better as each week passes.

Take yourself out clothes / top shopping when you are up for it! I've picked up a load of white tops & V-Necks, two things i stayed well away from with gyne. Also picked up some jumpers and a cardigan, all fit and not a size to big.

They need to get a warning notice up on this site that gyne surgery will likely lead to you buying a whole new wardrobe that actually fits and to budget for more than the operation  ;D ;D ;D

Yeah I've got the nipple dent thing sometimes as well mate, I'd say completely normal. We are still doing lots of healing so don't worry.

Yeah that's good on the nips reacting dude.

How long are you gonna leave it before going out in the sun ?
