hi, im jsut wondering cause i've read a topic before that an asthma medicine  linked with gynecomastia....

Im just wondering if the ventolin puffer will affect gynecomastia?

I've had the surgery, just wondering if i use the puffer, will it affect my scar tissue healing recovery or will it cause gynecomastia to come back at all?

If it is a steroid inhaler it will. I used Beclovent (steroid inhalior) and Prednosine (steroid pills) to treat my sever asthma attacks. (they caused my gyne)

I out grew my asthma and have not had an attack in years. I'd never use thoes again even if I did have an asthma attack.

i have asthma, when iwas younger i used a machine to administer the meds.. but for the last 5-7 years its just been an albuterhol inhaler. I think that is steroids, but I highly doubt it contributed to my gyne. I would assume one would have to take large quanitites to cause noticable growth.

Albuterhal is not a steroid.

go to ask.com and type in the name of the medication and than type gynecomastia. See what comes up.
