Hey, just wondering from all the ppl who went to fielding if there swelling went down completely and if they had scar tissue if it left or if they had to get the steroid injectioin cuz he was telling me that if it doesnt go down he will inject steroids.

My swelling was gone by day 12 and then I developed hard scar tissue. Didn't bother calling JCF about it as I was told by nope1 that it will eventually go away on its own. Which it did!

Dr Fielding told me the same thing at my consultation that it would dissipate on it's own, and in fact, it's better to have the scar tissue there, and to let it do what it was meant to do, rather than trying to massage it out.

Never heard about a steroid injection though??

Steroid injections are given if the scar tissue persists for longer than the expected dissipation time (3 - 6 months).
I wouldn't stress too much over it though, I've got a bit present after one month post-op and even with it my chest looks 100X better than before.
