I will gabriel! And I am not going to get surgery. I know I have hope since my younger brother used to have a high BF like me. Now he is down to 8% BF and does not have any signs of gyne. He has a flat chest.

This is my workout plan. Monday - Chest/Shoulders , Wednesday - Biceps/Triceps, Friday - Back/Legs. I will run for about 20-30 minutes after each workout on the tredmill

2 major muscles on the same day? i wouldn't recommend, switch the legs for triceps.. so you do legs/bis, and back/tris.
and probably post pics monthly
edit: i dont understand what gabrielsebastian is getting at, but you can't lose BF and gain muscle at the same time.. but if youre going for gaining muscle, search "bodybuilders with gyno", it's still quite blatent it's there. it wont go away just cos you've gained some muscle, i speak from experience.

Ok I will look into that. My family doctor just referred me to an endocrinologist for my gynecomastia. I'm going to make an appointment tomorrow and hopefully see the Doctor this week. Do you guys know what the endocrinologist will probably do?

He/she will do a lot of blood tests (checking your hormones and other various things in your blood) to see if there are any clear abnormalities that might be the cause of your gynecomastia.  If any of the blood tests show a problem, the doctor will take steps necessary to correct the problem, which may also improve your gyne.  Generally, however, these tests come back OK and gyne is simply chalked up to idiopathic (unknown) reasons.  If that's the case, the doctor may advise you on what your options or next step(s) should be.  If your gyne has been stable for sometime, surgery would be an option, but only if you want to go that route.  You certainly don't have to.  It simply comes down to how badly the condition bothers you and interferes with your ability to live a normal life.

"I never recommended a diet, but drink lots of water, eat right, get bigger muscles and tell me if that his body wont look better overall.
I look forward to having this discussion with you after 60 days, as I am now going through a muscle growth phase. Just serious weight lifting and a little cardio and eating right."

Sawyer I am eating 3300 cals 14 days on and half that 14 days off while still working out. I have that in my other post that you commented on.
So I apologize for any confusion, you are right, you cant do that at the same time.
Also, in the first thirty days he will see his best gains, hopefully that will motivate him to do research and start asking questions online
on what could work for him to continue going and growing.
About the gyno, yes, the tissue is present there. But would his body change positively or negatively by gaining some muscle and just having the gyno to worry about? Or would having the excess fat and lower muscle do worse by possibly producing aromatase?
I cannot say and I am not saying that is his problem, I am not even suggesting that, yet almost all research I have seen published indicates that estrogen can be produced by having a higher than normal fat % since fat also secretes its own hormones.

what do you intend to do after the 30 days?
what are your macros like? i'm on a cut atm, with only 2300 kcals a day, going pretty well.
i agree with you on the estrogen, because i believe i got gyno because of the crap i ate when i was young, which made me gain aload of weight really fast.

Hey sawyer, Im like you and going to the web and reading alot on bulking and muscle growth, so I am going to stay with the plan of ABCDE diet on my leaning diet, just a few more days of bulking up. Im going to go for strict green vegetables broccoli, brussel sprouts sweet peas, green peas, spinach leaf salads with hearts of palm, tuna, sardines and lean meats, with a sweet potato here and there and some nuts (unsalted) added. Also protein shakes between workouts. Not the meal replacements, too much fat in those. I also am adding coconut milk to my protein shakes since I use water only. That is for fourteen days. Ill be praying for it to be over but I hope to stay catabolic since I have been anabolic during all my feasting.
Im doing chest and shoulders and triceps, clean and press 2 times a week allowing for three days of rest
then back, squats, lunges and dead lifts 2 times a week allowing for three days of rest

i know i can break it down further, but the heck, im going for muscle breakdown.

I have been using a backpack with a 30 lb sand bag, but today i added another ten lb sand bag inside the backpack since i was getting to ten and 12 on my reps. The 10 lb bag added humbled me tonight Got to only 8-9 reps on my declined pushups, i was able to do spartan, wide and normal, but closed chested destroyed me. Also did dips with the weight which had my arms trembling.

On my lower calorie days, Im going to be going high reps and staying with the same weight but going for higher reps. I think my core gets harder when i do that, since even before when I used to be bigger and more muscle bound I was never able to reach so many pushups. So i take it like being a hardening period.

And yeah, i got my moobs as a kid eating crap processed food, cokes, doritos etc, so any muscle gain for me is a positive, since my theory is muscle is active and burns calories faster anyways. So best way to lose fat long term is to gain alot of muscle then later on eat right and workout like the p90x doing calisthenics to harden and raise the heart rate.

i want to wait till next week to post a pic, since this is only like my third heavy weight training. But today my shoulders looked so damn good i started laughing and crying of joy. Yeah it may sound pathetic, but I was really happy today to see these results.
Man I need weights!!! lol.

Hi guys, Sorry it took so long to reply but alot has been going on with my health. Turns out I have ParaHyperthyroidism. I have lost about 20 pounds in less than a month, but now that my thyroid levels are going down, I'm starting to gain weight again. My endocrinologist said that the cause of my gynecomastia is my thyroid. She said I am having surgery in March to remove the gynecomastia, at the University Of Michigan Hospital.

Congrats on the surgery, but also on getting the thyroid problem discovered and taken care of! That is and can be a very serious problem if not address, and lead to much more then just gynecomastia! Once again congratulations on both, I hope all goes well!

Yes the thyroid problem is horrible! Turns out I got it from my mom. I just hope that after the surgery, the gynecomastia doesn't grow back.

I'm not a doctor, but my fear would be the same! I believe that it would be one hell of a hormone balancing act! That is one of the reasons I didn't try fighting it after losing my testicles and also having thyroid problems, not to even think about the fact that I had gyne as a young man as well, but didn't know what it really was!

ok guys, I know its been a while since i last posted but for some reason my computer would not let me log onto the sight. There was a cookie error or something. Anyways I have not had the surgery yet. We are trying to get our insurance to cover it "United Healthcare". The first time they rejected it because they said they did not have enough information back in March. My surgeon does not know what information they are talking about so my endocrinologist wrote up a letter of support since my surgeon said that usually helps with the insurance I have. So we sent in the appeal with the letter a couple of weeks ago stating that I have pain while working out and sleeping, which I do. So I called my surgeon today and she said she contacted the insurance person about the appeal today and we should find out the result within 24 hours. I'm hoping they will cover it! Wish me luck!
