help choosing the right doc???

Well i almost have saved enough money for surgury, now i gotta go through with it...can anyone recommend good doctors in the southeast (south / north carolina, georgia)? if i want to be shritless for next spring break how long before should i get the surgery with a mild case?  thanks for the help!
