compression vest

today is the  6th day post op. i took off my compression vest and i noticed 2 huge black and blue marks on my left and right side of my body. this was caused by the bottom of my compression vest digging into my sides.would it be ok to wear body armour instead of the compresson vest for 1 day; my follow up is tomorrow. by the way i am happy with the results,but i still have some swelling.
