Anybody claimed short term disability?

Hi guys. I'm just wondering if anybody has claimed short term disability because of surgery, and if they had any problems getting the claim accepted because its a cosmetic surgery or anything like that.

I just applied for short term disability benefits today. Just kinda nervous that I will be rejected or something, even though my insurance is actually covering the surgery! And because I work a physical job, I plan on taking 3-4 weeks off, and not pushing myself... No reason to push myself and risk hurting myself or messing things up, if I'm getting paid full pay to sit at home and recover, right? 

I'm definitely gettin' excited.
