My doctor prescribed this to me and I've been on it for around 2 months now. Anyone else ever been on it? I've seen many posts on other websites that it works but nothing has happened yet and apparently it can cause cancer so I don't know what to do...

I took it years ago. I presume hes prescribed this to battle gyne, its only effective within two years of the glands forming. So if you've had gyne for more than two years dont waste your time.

Side affects, are minimal i didnt notice any symptoms taking any estrogen blockers and i took them for a few months. And they wont cause cancer, but a total waste of time and money for me.

Thanks for the response. Now the cancer isn't proven to be a side effect... especially because it hasn't been tested on men  but apparently it's a worry. I've had gyno for 2 1/2 years and I wish the doctor prescribed it to me when I first saw the doctor about 9 months ago... Well... guess my only option is surgery

thetodd reported a pretty typical reaction. Or should I say lack of reaction. Drugs do not work once the condition has stabilized. I suspect that even 9 months ago would have been too late.

Your supposition is also correct, that surgery is your only alternative unless you decide to live with it.
