I've had gyno for 2 and a 1/2 years now and 2 months ago I was prescribed Evista. I've seen that it actually works but there has been 0 difference for me. I want to know what you guys think about treating gyno with meds. Do you believe that drugs won't do anything at all? If it doesn't work I don't know why I should take it because there are some every serious side effects. I don't want surgery but if it's the last thing I will gladly do it. So in general how long does it take for me to actually get the surgery?(i guess that depends on the schedule?) And how long is recovery in general? Does that depend on how bad it is?

Thanks.

Gyne that has been present for over two years is not amenable to treatment with medication.  It is only if gyne is developing and is caught early that medication might be helpful.  If any medication worked for established gyne, then news of that medication would be all over this forum.

Surgery is your best answer at this point.  Do your homework and find an experienced gyne surgeon in your area -- or even consider traveling if necessary.

I have not found any medication which is effective for treatment of gynecomastia under the conditions you describe. The only beneficiary of the medical attempt at treatment is the drug manufacturer.
