A Father is not here to raise an obedient son, but to produce a responsible adult. You are only given 18 years. At the end, the best you can hope for is that you are at least friends.

To sons, Your Dad is not here to meet all your needs but to train you so you can meet those needs yourself.

Happy Father's Day to all, Give your Dad a hug. It is not unmanly to even give your Dad a kiss. Don't be surprised if his eyes fill with tears. It is not unmanly to cry either.

Well said. The relationship between a father and son is often complex. Im happy that my father has lived long enough to see me realize he was right all along about so many things.
