Well I like to workout but I haven't in a while. I used to go to the gym regularly but always end up quitting. I'm not overweight or anything but I do it to stay in shape even tho I'm not really in good shape right now..... Anyways I just received my insanity workout dvds and I want to start them and I also do push ups and weight lifting. I haven't worked out in almost two months but I want to start asap.. the only problem is that my first consultation is on September 17 and I always get sore mainly on my chest area due to the weight lifting and push ups... Is it a good or bad idea to workout and be sore even tho I'm planning on having surgery soon?

Imo working out before surgery is fine. You may have to take a little time off after surgery. Your consultation isn't until sept 17th... and surgery most likely wont be for a month or more. So no excuses brother! Take care of your health !
