had my surgery 9 months ago and today I woke up with swelling...

Is this even possible after 9 months?  I don't get it. I was looking fine all this time and now it starts to swell up on both sides. It just doesn't make sense because usually, from what I've read, swelling occurs within the first few weeks to few months, but not 9 months.  Anyone have any info on this?

Best case scenario you could be retaining water and the swelling is the result of bloating. Worst case scenario your chest is swelling because the remaining glandular tissue is responding to the same hormonal stimulation that caused your first case.
